We were told by a staff member to go to rear of shop for console games has he hadn’t yet had time to put them out, two individuals enthusiastically helped us find games, they were then reprimanded for selling from there and for the noise.....however I want to thank them for their help and ask that the manager to be mindful about how she speaks to her team, particularly in front of members of the public, treat people you work alongside with respect, be kind and remember that we were directed to approach them, going to work is supposed to be a positive experience....thanks guys with your help we got what we were looking for!

I fronted up at your store and proceeded to ask if I could borrow a trolley as I had been told that was what you do. An assistant told me that I was to use the B&M trolley so went ot get one and see I have to pay. Went back to your store to say I came out with out my purse and could they help. A very rude lady then said no we are not allowed to do anything. I think proceed to carry in bedside tables tied shelves small side table and was just being in the drawers seperately when the rude lady said if you had told us you had furniture we would have sent you around the back, by that time though I had just about finished. NOt the kind of service I expect from a charity store or any store for that matter. will find another charity to donate my good to infuture

Never again will I donate to this Stevenage cancer research shop, the lady collecting the donations was rude and most unhelpful and not grateful for the donations at all! I have recently lost my dad and are clearing his house and was already upset.. left the shop in tears she was so rude!!!

What an unpleasant experience making a donation. All the items that I had carefully bagged up were tossed out onto a table and treated like trash. My donations were expensive toys and household items all in excellent clean condition. The only items they wanted were the toys the rest were left in a heap for me to carefully bag up and take away. The staff member was rude and ungrateful for the donations. Went to another charity shop in Knebworth who were more than grateful for the household items and were very polite. Went back to Cancer UK in the proceeding days to see if the toys I had donated ever made it out onto the shelves. Never saw any of the toys for sale. I will never make a donation to Cancer UK ever again. Other charity shops in the area are much more deserving.

First time here. The shop is so well organised and displayed beautifully. Everything is separated by colour and size so its easy to find what you are looking for. They stock a large range of home decor, clothing, furniture, books, toys, records and lighting. The prices are so so cheap, mainly at £2/£3 and everything is clearly labelled with pricing. The staff are lovely and friendly too. Will definitely be back soon.
