I think this charity shop reflects its location. The prices are higher than most of its other branches - and I consider myself a bit of an expert here - but they have some interesting finds. I did see a copy of Madonna's Music CD, U.S. Limited Edition, for under a tenner. The book section is a bibliography of tomes.

Standard-looking charity shop. Medium sized book section, including biographies, current affairs and art. Some crockery and trinkets, but mostly clothes - some quite pricey but others cheap enough.

Found a couple of wonderful, like-new cookbooks including the Shed’s cookbook. Very pleased with the selection and price.

The shop is fine, not great, but the cashier (Taiwo) cannot be any ruder than that. She spoke in a very inappropriate manner to the other visitors and me.I had to ask her 3 times for a bag and she was treating my request like a brand new information every time. Eventually I have got a random bag from under the counter.

I was a little apprehensive dropping off many, many, books from some of the comments posted but couldn't have been greeted with a more helpful welcome. Hugely convenient to be able to unload in the back street behind High Street Ken.
Thanks

The volunteers are very nice and helped with my questions. Good selection of books and toys.

I had so hoped my experience in the shop would be different than the reviews - sadly the feedback on the cashier is true. I made 3 massive donations on Wed, Thurs, and Friday this week - each time she ignored me and merely pointed to the hallway where I was to leave the items. She didn't say thank you, she really didn't even speak. Given charities rely so heavily on the public, maybe Oxfam can give the cashier some training on how to interact with the public? Especially considering there are approx.5 charity shops in the immediate area that could also benefit from donations. :(

good selection of books (paperbacks £1.99, actually decent writers!), clothes the usual.
