The side pavement always has a pile of clothes. It *seems* that they are unwanted donations and are discarded this way.
Very sad and neglectful attitude, as the clothes get soaked and dirty, they could be donated to people in need but instead go to waste... not a very charitable attitude for a charity shop.
As a suggestion, the store could at least put them in a ‘pick if needed box’ to protect them from damage and be donated!
