A good selection of cheap books and always in good condition. I pop in once a week and they regularly refresh the books and remove old stock

The shop is clean and tidy and the staff are helpful.

One my favourite oxfam shops - very tidy, with a good choice of clothing and books, and lovey staff!

The selection is weakening as prices are increasing, and the return policy was not honoured by a rather rude manager who could not believe that the scarf I bought a few days before, (100% cashmere) could have cost GBP 17.99. Hey mate, you priced it, so why so high? I was returning it simply because I decided I would not wear it. The experience upset me. Books are good but clothes and service could be improved.

I went to the Oxfam, St John's Wood branch only to find it closed early due to a shortage of volunteers which is sad. It does however have a good collection of clothing and books so would like to return again.

This oxfam shop is located towards the top of the high street, opposite The Ivy Cafe. It’s presented as 50% books & 50% clothing.
My only interest is the second hand books.
To be honest It’s really not the cheapest place for second hand book but it is very well presented. There is quite a small selection of vinyl, CDs and DVDs.
The shop is very clean and well maintained and on occasion the staff can be helpful.

Unfortunately some people feel the need to dump there donations outside when the shop is closed, leaving a unsightly mess on the high street.

It is now 16.53 and I have just had the worst charity shop experience ever. I often nip into Oxfam shops to get a book or if I am going to a themed party for that little extra. The sign said open until 17.00 this was 16.40. I pushed the door and although people were inside it was locked. The assistant saw me and just walked off . A few seconds later back he came saw me and walked off again. I tapped on the door he then said he was closing up. I said but you are open until 5pm and was grudgingly and rudely let in. An awaful advertisement for OXFAM. I will pop into others but St Johns Wood I will avoid.
