Beautiful store and a lovely team of Staff and Volunteers. I bought a Superdry coat for £3 in perfect condition!

Very friendly, helpful and approachable staff, who work extremely hard and put their heart into this important work. This is sincerely the best charity shop I have ever been to. They gratefully receive and take good care of all donations, ensuring gift aid is applied. The pickup and delivery service is excellent, with the same friendly, helpful staff. Thank you to all the staff.

Went in today to donate a pair of new shoes but was dismissed as they said they were full. I said I only had shoes to donate but they said come back tomorrow in a very rude manner. I will never donate anything to this store again. I find cancer research shops the most arrogant of all charity shops.

Shame that they are only taking donations between 10am and 2pm every day now to give them time to process.

Sadly they will learn the hard way that this will cost them donations as folk will go elsewhere and those that don't will deluge them between these hours so the task will seem to escalate very quickly.

Hopefully some more staff will join soon. 👍

Awful experience, rude staff member so took my donations elsewhere

Turned up at 1 minute past closing time where staff and customer were still in the shop. Walked in with bags for donation and a staff member told me to leave and they would not accept any donations and told me I shouldn't be in the shop after closing time. I think it was the manager, with a foreign accent.

Utterly disgraceful

One of my chosen charities. Great place to leave your unwanted clothing where they then put it for sale at a reasonable price.

Gone down hill recently. Unfortunately from what I have seen some volunteers spend the majority of their time scalping cds, dvds, games and vinyl so nothing decent rarely makes it to shelf anymore as put to the side and bought after shift (with a further discount)... I would have no qualm with this if that monies was put back into the charity but it doesn't and all it does is lose the store customers over the longer term. The Stevenage store is better for media, especially games Stevenage charge more but its a better selection.

I usually love this shop, as you can get a bargain whilst donating to charity. But today my grand daughter decided to come to the shop to donate all of her school revision guides which she no longer needed. She was told by the people who take donations at the end of the shop that, ‘they don’t take the revision books as they don’t sell’. Now, as you may know, school books can become quite costly once your child/grand child starts their GCSEs or their ALevels. So I am utterly disgusted that you would deprive children, especially around this poor and underprivileged area, some of the basic necessities that they would need for school. At the end of the day, for the less fortunate, the full prices of all the supplies adds up and quite a lot of families are unable to afford the costs.

I am very disappointed.
