Nice charity shop :) the lady working there was really nice!

I went in for some crochet hooks a couple of times over the last few days, as I had already purchased some from another lovely lady that was closing the shop a few days ago.
Today the manager snapped at me and was extremely rude for asking for the third time in a few days; saying she didn't have any and there was never any. I asked her not to speak to me like that, as there was no need, I was only inquiring. She's continued to talk over me and said that I wasn't listening to her. I am shocked and appalled by her awful behaviour, she wouldn't give me her name or the contact details of her senior manager. They even had the gall to laugh as I left the shop, upset. I feel like she was discriminating against me for the way I was dressed and the colour of my skin. I have never been treated so badly in my life by a retail assistant.

A "well done" to the most uncharitable charity shop worker in Taunton (an older woman herself) that refused a blanket yesterday pm (22/01/23) for a woman that had fallen down across the street with her head bleeding heavily.
Luckily, with the kindness of others the injured woman received help and care.

Great shop! Great for gifts & goes to a good cause.
