Do a good job

The electrical shop is an utter discgrace. The hardback books are marked that a large one is £2 and £1 for a small one. When i took three to the till that should have been £6 max the male cashier told me it was £10. I asked why when the books were maximum £2 each and was told that the ones i'd chosen hadnt haen priced yet. He then showed me the back of the books and the rrp of the book when new, and said he was doing me a favour by pricing it down from what they cost new. I work in retail so im well aware that what its priced at on the shelf is what it costs despite delusional valuations. My question to red cross is if this scam artist is trying to scam me, what is he doing to vulnerable elderly people and less fortunate who really need things from the store. Charity shops do not sell things for what they are worth new, that is the point of them.

Popped in one afternoon, male staff member was friendly. Another customer was carrying their dog around and he had a nice little chat with them and was helpful with us when we purchased a glass bowl, offering to wrap it. Not loads of furniture/ electrical, though a fair amount of crockery sets and coffee tables. Felt the prices were reasonable with a lot of stock having been reduced as well.
