YMCA

This is the high end charity shop the YMCA have with the Colchester avenue location adding the larger furniture to their offering.

I was very impressed by the layout of the shop everything was so clean tidy and well organised the young lady who I believe was the manager was very helpful and very pleasant and she was so kind of she even even gave me a cutting of a spider plant for me to take home and grow which is
growing nicely it was a pleasure to go into the shop as everything was so nice

I wanted to purchase a skirt in the window and was told I could purchase it the following Monday. Aran the manager asked for my name and number and said it would be kept for me. I called in to get it and it had been sold! What a waste of time! The lady who served me today was not at all apologetic, she definitely needs some lessons on customer service!

Wonderful staff, great finds in this charity shop.

Only open Thursdays and Fridays, desperate for more stock!!! Shop assistant was fun, engaging and made a hunt for an upcycled outfit a real joy. Hope she stays and everyone else visiting has fun too!!!

This shop is never open and when it is the staff are rude (not the volunteers, they do thier best). The building is old and run down and frankly smells of damp. Managment dont seem to care about this. The charity do great work, but visit thier other locations instead.
