National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

I'm sure they can improve their service, I've booked to change my 4 tyres at 09:30 am and car only been ready at 11:45, also wheel tracking machine wasn't working, when in few other places I've changed in the past never took longer than an hour

I took my car here last time and the service provided was good and I had my car back in under 5 hours. However, this time (today actually I brought my car there) I was very disappointed as initially they said my car would be ready around 11-12. But come 3pm I called them asking why they haven't called yet, and they said the car was on the ramp and it will be ready in half an hour. So I waited until 5:30. And still no call, I tried calling them and no one was amswering considering the fact that they don't really close until 6pm. Now my plans for the evening are ruined as I needed my car for the night and I don't have a car to use. They didn't even try to inform me about this and I have to wait until tomorrow for it now.

Had blow out on rear tyre today within 20mts of National tyre garage limped into car park . Asked assistant for help after waiting 20 minutes for him to book a job in on the telephone . My disabled wife was in the car and I had no spare . The guy was so slow unhelpful and could do nothing for me my company has an account but he was just not interested. I rang Kwik fit the guys there could not be more helpful I ended up purchasing 4 new tyres even though they said three per still legal no pressure Mace and his college could not be more helpful . Summary I will never use National tyres ever again we have six vehicles. 10 out 10 for for Kwik fit and the team in Bushy mill lane . cccheaper as

I've been here 3 times, on all 3 occasions I didn't manage to have the work done due to staff shortages, can't comment on their quality of work as I've never been that lucky. Local garages are a lot cheaper and actually see you, I saved £70 today going elsewhere, party time.

Booked in via tyre shopper for 10am. I turned up at 10 and the manager couldn't find my booking, maybe that's not his fault. I was told to leave the car for an hour and a half. I came back after this time and they hadn't even started it. They eventually did it at 12:45 and told me to wait outside and someone will bring the car out. I waited another 10 minutes and they still hadn't brought it out. I went and sat back in the waiting room and as soon as they saw me do this the manager went and got my car out himself. So I basically waited 3 hours, seemed a waste of time booking the time slot via tyre shopper.

Interesting, used to get a Oil change at Watford via the National Website. £56, because its acquired by Halfords, gone up to £74. So unclear with the service now, going elsewhere whilst they sort themselves out. However fee's are unlikely to be reduced or Value for money.
**Went to National in the end** some online stores are honouring the 'National' price and not re-confirming with Halfords booking emails..Again, Great service from them, but might be the last time.

Brilliant, had a flat and they got me back on the road the same day I was lucky to of got a flat 2 doors down, friendly and knowledgeable staff I'll be back again

Bad service .

I have arrived in 15 earlier for my appointment and waited for more than 1H 45 minutes in waiting area and nothing happened .
In the end I had to ask for a refund and leave as i felt I will be there for the next few hours .
I can’t understand how can a 2 hours delay can happen in 2 hours since store opened .
Ridiculous .
