National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Had to use via the lease company. Some staff friendly and helpful but found one rather grumpy might of been a morning thing. The time it took to call the lease company get booked in and have the work done was really good but for personal car I use Pro Tyres very friendly and also great deals.

Had the unfortunate opportunity to visit this branch a few weeks ago. The most dis-courteous gormless muppet behind the counter who lacked even a mm of personality or compassion for a problem presented. Where do you get these people from? I’ve been warned about this branch by others, now I know why. You wonder why garages get a bad rep, this place embodies that thought and more, complete rip off merchants.

Terrible customer service, went into see if rear brake pads could be changed. Was informed that only mains dealers can do it, and that’s what happens when you buy expensive cars.

Guy looked like he didn’t want to be there, no smile or hello, would have got a better response from someone in a morgue.

Great service and very fast turnaround.

Update: Now I have washed my car to remove the white paste they used to put new tyres on. My alloys have been damaged by the machine they used to remove the tyres. The alloy were spotless as not to long ago, they were refurbished.

Been with National Tyres for years with all the problems that you could get with your car and the service and the work done was always professional and excellent. But this service is the worst thing that could happen to them staff very rude and unprofessional. Had my tyres replaced here and the alignment on all 4 wheels they’ve done it quickly no comment on this but even my son could do a better job left the service with the tyres under inflated, the car was pulling to one side of the road and the steering was noisy. Worst experience ever wouldn’t recommend

Not good after having my tyres changed I did not hear him say he left my locking wheel nut on the tailgate and I drove home and realised it was not in my car went back to the garage and they wasn't worried about it and booked to have a safety check on my car and they did not do that either

what a waste of £50 had them do a 4 wheel aligment I could of done better myself in end took it to toyota and found the front wheels toe was 0'15 out all i can say is what waste of time and money
