Good service, quite good tyre selection

Very good service

Very disappointed with the service provided as the Tyre fitter who owns the place is a "COWBOY". He broke the spare tyre winch on my Seat Alhambra by using a power tool on it with the spare put back on the winch the wrong way up (very basic school boy error). This broke the winch and prevented the spare from being correctly rehoused under the car as the winch no longer reels in or out its metal cable. Over tightening or over winding the winch with a power tool breaks the mechanism, hence you are not supposed to use a power tool when winding or unwind the winch. Instead your supposed to use the hand tool provided which he did not do. It took me to point out his mistake which he now will not admit to before he realised what he had done wrong. Instead to my amazement the tyre fitter sent me too his friends garage for his friend to try to repair it. All his friend did was completely remove the winch with the tyre still connected to it from the car and informed me I would need a new one. When I went back to the Tyre garage the owner had locked up and gone home and was not answering his phone.  Hence called back on Monday morning to establish what he intends to do to rectify the problem and all he can tell me is that he is too busy to talk about it and to bring it back for his friend to look at again, or possibly replace but that he is only willing to go half's on the cost to repair or replace it.  Needless to say I will not be returning to his shop and have now started legal proceedings to recover the cost for repairing the damage he has cause and the inconvenience caused. What was supposed to be a 15 -20 minute job has now turned into a drama. I will not be using them again!

This has got to be the worst tyre service ever. Don't waste your time or money. I will be taking them to Court for negligence as they damaged my car when changing a tyre.

Quick and friendly. No frills location but that's not what you need with getting a tyre sorted out.
