National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Had a new tyre booked in to be fitted around august time. Waited an hour however the people who worked there were nice. Just had to take my car into another garage for a bead leak. They took the tyre off and found dirt and grime that hadn’t been washed off from these guys. Not impressed

Yer it's seams unusual to be dropping a car off at 8.30 am, then be told that it will be looked at 11.00 am, many years ago I worked for a local tyre company it would take around one hour 20 minutes to change 2 tyres + the tracking, just seams unusual time scale, the price very good though

Very poor… popped in here after having an issue inflating my tyres at a local supermarket… Upon entering the member of staff was miserable and did not acknowledge me (was too busy button bashing the keyboard)… When I was acknowledged and asked for my very simple request I was told this was not possible due to them being “very busy”…. There was one car in the bay. Will not be returning here. If you want rude service and blunt replies be my guest.

A huge thank you to Jamie the guy is an absolute genius with phenomenal experience came with my old Volkswagen Golf MK4 Wheel alignment tracking in Cardiff needed oxy gas to loosen the steering joints Wheel tracking is perfect been advised to change my front tyres which I will in due course. Thanks once again you absolute legend 100%

Very good place available team. Shane was very helpful he searched for the right tyres for me and matched a lower market price. He was professional and polite. I would certainly recommend the place.

Just had 4 new tyres fitted by Shane, one of the technicians, and what a great service! Prompt, great communication, true passion for cars! Robert, the branch manager was very helpful and had great communication with me! I had a great experience and some great prices too! My GR YARIS had a treat!

I would support the previous review listed. Whilst the service to my car seems adequate, the rude and unhelpful nature of the male staff member on reception means I will not be returning. When a customer asks regarding their car: "when should I look to replace my front tyres?" You don't respond: "when they need changing" and then turn away and ignore them. Very poor customer service.

If I could put no stars I would….we had a slow leak that turned into a flat tyre took the car to be looked at…was met by a very rude member of staff who did not acknowledge my husband…eventually a member of staff acknowledged my husband after bashing his keyboard…he was extremely grumpy and belching!!
He was very rude to my husband when my husband was trying to explain the problem and said “back off and give me space if you want me to see what the problem is” After 5 mins and looking said there was nothing wrong!
We are now on our way back to Reading where we live and on the M4 the tyre pressure dropped again….came to a tyre place on Newport and within 30 secs diagnosed a faulty valve!!!! 😡😡 my son was driving this car and this could have been detrimental driving motorway speeds!!
Terrible service and would never recommend
