The Golden Tours' bus company was a poor choice for London. There were other companies that have more buses that ran more frequently and longer hours. Most of the drivers wouldn't stop because there was no one to complain to when you're on the road. Several buses passed me by saying that they were closed. I missed several buses causing me to miss several museums and other attractions. I spent money on cabs trying to catch the bus. I would not recommend this company. They were different color lines that ran different hours but no one explain that to you. I would recommend taking the underground because it was easy and less expensive and most of the museums are free; it was a waste of money.

Rude. Terrible. Awful. I bought a London pass and for the first day I wanted to do the Hop on hop of tour. The golden tours agent had no wish to help or answer our questions. Never figured it out. The London Pass info stated that the Golden Tours visitor centers would provide a bus our ticket and activate London pass. Never happened. All she would say is Go. You have to go. Outside. Metro. I will be contacting London Pass. Tha was a terrible experience.

Awful. Buses come by rarely, half the stops weren't up so we had to walk about 45 minutes to nextstop. Every other bus service came by regularly (including he stops this place took off for the day), at least10-15 minutes. Ive traveled to over 50 countries, taken tons of tours, nothing as frustrating or useless as this tourgroup. I cannot stress how much I recommend you use another service. We wasted over 150 pounds on a service we were able to use once, hours on the phone to the point we just booked elsewhere and took the loss.

You can pretty much use any other tour bus service - they are all faster, Big Red Bus seemed to be there the most, but others were often enough - this one is by far the least 30+ min waits). Not to mention the buses end 2 hours before any other. Don't waste your money, go elsewhere, even if it's cheaper.

The bus was great, guide was great, traffic was awful. We paid for the two day pass but only road the bus one way to the London Bridge. Took us forever because of traffic! Tube is a much better option.

Our on board commentator was Michelle and our bus driver was John. Both were very accommodating. Michelle gave us a lot of insights on historical events particularly the stretch of Strand and Fleet streets -- from Trafalgar square to Couts bank to pubs and the St. Paul's cathedral.

But the second bus we hopped on, the commentator was not as energetic and informative.

Our tour was a great experience. Our guide Dominic and driver Alan were amazing and made the day entertaining and fun. I do think the company needs to work on their organization. When we showed up it was difficult to find where we should be and then we waited over an hour to get on our bus and leave. Our check in time was 7:45 and we were to leave at 8. It was almost 9 by the time we left which put us behind for the rest of the day. It caused us to wait in a long line at Windsor Castle and shortened our time there so we were rushed to see even a small portion of the castle. We then went to Bath and had a great time in the city and the Roman Baths. We finished at Stonehenge which our group chose to spend less time at. I liked that Dominic let our group decide to do that so we could have more time in Bath.
Overall it was definitely worth the price but it would have been significantly better if we would have had the extra time we lost sitting waiting for the company to organize their bus. The free lunch was not appetizing but it was free. We did end up leaving about 5 people at Windsor Castle and to be honest I was glad they weren't going to waste our time waiting for people who couldn't follow directions. Those left behind were able to be picked up by another bus from the company so they weren't left stranded.
I think the company has some work to do on their "shove as many people through the tours as possible" approach. Dominic and Alan are the whole reason we are giving such good reviews. Dominic was great at advising us to options to see or places to eat at our stops and made the entire tour an adventure to remember. Alan is a fantastic driver that made me very comfortable during the drive and got us where we need to go on time.
The locations and actual stops are amazing and fun. We loved every location.

Good Serviced Tour with friendly staff. However, there is not much bus and we had been waiting for the bus very long time and the bus stop is difficult to find too. The tour provide us many cheap or discounted ticket such as the ticket to Tower Bridge and The Shard.

Very nice night tour. We saw all the major attractions. The driver pointed out good places to take pictures. We had a chance to take pictures of the Tower of London from one of the bridges. The tour itself was $22 or thereabouts for 1.5 hours. The only drawback was that it was cold (this was February 2018). You can get better pictures on the top level however I would recommend dressing warmly or not sitting on the unheated top level the entire time.
