Thank you On the Go & Nguyen.
The itinerary took us to all of the must-see sights in Egypt, which were all even more impressive than we could have imagined! All of the accommodation and food on the trip were great, but we particularly enjoyed those on the Nile Cruise, so we're definitely glad that we chose to upgrade from the Felucca. The boat was very comfortable, the staff were great and it was very relaxing to be able to lounge on the sun deck, watching the beautiful scenery go by.
Before we went on the trip several of our family and friends were concerned about safety of tourists in Egypt. We found all of the people we met in Egypt to be very welcoming and we never felt threatened. We'd highly recommend visiting Egypt, particularly with On The Go Tours! We'll certainly be booking more holidays with them in future.
Our guide, Hicham Tora and even our driver Sulieman made it a super trip. Hicham speaks great English and is well educated in all things Morocco - the History, the various cultures and current matters impacting the country.
He helped us in the Souks with negotiating best prices on things and in our case assisted us with a medical emergency...I really don't know how we would've managed without him.
Sulieman our driver got us around safely and was super reliable.
What an awesome country and so glad we picked Morocco 🇲🇦😀
Thank you On the Go

The 9 day “Road to Casablanca” Tour was the perfect way to start travelling again since the pandemic. Not only did we want to see Morocco but we also wanted to know about it’s culture, traditions and people. We could not have had a better Guide than ABDELLATIF, and a more accommodating driver than SLIMANE. I was so embarrassed at how little I knew of Morocco and while on the tour I quickly understood that 9 days were just enough time to scratch the surface of this amazing country.
The guided tours in each city were wonderful, and the people warm and welcoming. Although there is a lot of driving (Morocco is vast!) the journeys did not feel long with plenty of stops along the way thanks to Slimane and Abdellatif’s explanations of Moroccan life, politics, history and it’s future.
We travelled July/August, so the temperatures are high, but really what would you expect in a North African country in the summer? The tour bus is air conditioned, and you can get bottled water in most places. As someone who is London born and bred, I acclimatized to the weather quickly, so don't let the temperatures put you off from visiting.
Personal highlights of this trip for me were:
(1) Dinner at Dar Essalam restaurant in Marrakech.
(2) Visiting Ait Ben Haddou fortified Kasbah, where films like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Prince of Persia (you get the gist) were filmed.
(3) Walking around the Medina's of Marrakech and Fes, especially getting to see the tanneries which were breathtaking (literally - the bird poop smell really penetrates to your brain!) and fascinating.
(4) Volubilis was magical, I mean who doesn't like Roman ruins?! The mosaics and preserved town were wonderful to see.
(5) Seeing the sunrise in the Wester Sahara after spending a night stargazing at a Berber campsite.
The entire trip was smooth and I've learnt so much. Thank you to the most dedicated Tour Guide Abdellatif - we will definitely return to Morocco to visit the rest of the country :O) !
Do not hesitate to book this trip, you will not be disappointed.
