Only in Cambridge for the day and this was definitely worth it. My wife wanted to go, I thought 40/50 mins would be too long, but the guide Ava was excellent, answering all the questions from the boat as well as interesting facts along the river. The journey flew by. I'm glad we went for the guided tour as it can be pretty busy on the river and not as easy as it looks.

Firstly request for Jude if you can. Greatest punter ever! He was kind, funny, and knew a lot about the local history. The boat tour was relaxing and very calming. Recommend using this company for boat tours. P.S. they are the only company on this river. : P

Great experience with punting. You can choose between a guided tour across the river cam listening to the history of the majestic colleges on either banks of the river or you can self hire a boat if you want to give punting a try.

Great experience! Ppl are nice and friendly. Very helpful with all the questions. Love the fun stories and secrets about Cambridge. The boat is nice and clean. They also provide toilet which is a plus traveling with young kids and elders.

Amazing 45 minute scenic tour through the river, our guide had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable about the buildings and colleges surrounding the area.

The prices were definitely higher than you’d find in most European cities but overall I would recommend the experience.

Sales guy was up on the sidewalk holding a sign with all of the punting options. We made our choice and were told to return 10 minutes prior to launch time.

We were able to bring food/drinks on the punting tour if we wanted. Blankets were provided. The guide was very kind.

An absolutely fantastic look at the collages and with an exceptionally knowledgeable and funny guide. Our only day here and it was totally worth it. Time flew by and could not recommend it more.
The team offered a deal while we were looking at Mathematical Bridge, but weren’t pushy about the sell which we liked.
The boat is comfortable and as it was 3pm in November we were given hot water bottles which complemented the blanket nicely.
We also splashed out on the mulled wine and we loved it. A late afternoon drink which warmed us up nicely.
Unfortunately I forgot our guides name, but he was so good. Controlled the boat, kept a good flow of information, balancing delightful historical details with everyday thoughts and opinions. Highly enjoyable.

This is the first time we did punting in Cambridge and we loved it.
I would recommend to book online in ahead so you get the perfect slot you want to, they will give you blankets and they have umbrellas as well in case it rains. The guide & Punter was very good who tells the facts, history about the colleges while going to the backs of each of them. A very nice experience to have for the ones travelling to Cambridge.
