Really nice park. Never thought to go here but it was a nice turnout. Parking appears to be free for the first hour, but it's £2.50 for an all day ticket. In my opinion, it's worth it as there's a lot to explore.

Very scenic and peaceful, a great place to go for a relaxing walk/jog, to clear your head or take your dogs out.

Used to be used for the storage of ammo and gunpowder, now landscaped for public use. Some mown areas, wild areas but has a tarmacked path all the way around. Great for kids, cyclists and walking the dog. Car park is £1 for an hour, £2 for all day and is paid via your phone. In the winter gets very muddy, but is a peaceful well managed area.

The field station appears to be used for outdoor gym activities. There is very clean public toilet. You have to pay for parking by phone - £2. I've chosen to pay £50 per year for unlimited parking at all 8 of the Lea Valley Park Car Parks, of which Gunpowder Park is one. Absolutely lovely park.

Fantastic open space with lots of greenery and wildlife. Its an ideal venue for walkers and cyclists. Once upon a time they tested ammunitions here hence the name. There is a car park which used to be free but now is payable

Nothing is free nowadays.
Lee Valley however is why I choose to live here.
Gunpowder Park is a nice loop for walkers. Nice to do a lap if you are navigating the towpath by cycle.
