Very steep hill, but brilliant views. The earthworks are very impressive. Good walks nearby, and a brilliant pub under 3km away at Iwerne Courtney.

On a clear day it's well worth the walk to the top. Take a camera! An oxygen bottle might come in handy too!

With lovely views from the top of the beautiful Dorset countryside and several footpaths that lead off from the hill its a rather nice place to go and get some fresh air.

It is only the remains of a very old (stone age?) fortification, but it's size and complexity are impressive as are the views. So well worth a visit if you like this kind of thing

Interesting hillfort with a Roman camp in one corner. Bit of a climb to get up, but not too difficult.

Fairly steep walk to the top, but well worth it for the fabulous 360⁰ views of the Dorset countryside. There is a handy (but fairly small) car park at the bottom.
