Beautiful location combined with fascinating engineering still in working order. Friendly and helpful guides. Take a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Steep wooden steps if you want to see inside the mill but worth the climb.

Although not open, great to see some history. Amazing story to this windmill; fantastic to realise that it's been moved within the past 30 odd years to this site after the original village was taken over by Gatwick.

Looked for nice/interesting things on the way. Found this one, it was closed (opens on Sundays once a month) but still nice to see.

Only a partial review, the monument is only properly open to the public on selected days (please refer to the trust's website) but the exterior of the site is freely open to the public to walk around to view the excellent work that the trust have done in restoring this mill to the condition it now stands in. One of the last remaining Post Mills in the UK, it was saved from demolition during the expansion of nearby Gatwick airport and relocated to its present position. There is no car park but for a quick external inspection (allow 15 minutes) it may be possible to pull in at the entrance provided the gate is left unobstructed. There are no visitor facilities on site. Worth a few moments to admire the structure and the care that has been taken of it if you are passing - don't forget to drop a few coins in the collection box on the way out :)

Quite spectacular to see, we parked near gate and walked across field as there is no parking of sorts.
