London Tours by Taxi

We took the full day tour of London with Adrian in his immaculate Black cab. He showed us so much of the city of London. Perfect timing and position to watch the changing of the guards. Adrian was the perfect guide as he listened to what we wanted to see and delivered everything. He is a great person to talk to and we appreciated his humour and quick wit. We like to research and use local independent guides when we travel. Adrian was very highly rated and recommended and he met all our expectations. My husband really got a kick out of all the funny nicknames of the skyscrapers that the locals use. Make sure you see the Gherkin, Cheese Grater and The walky/talky building. Also a big thank you for taking us to a local pub for the best fish & chips and meat pies!

This is the second time we have used Adrian in the last year and a half. He is very flexible on scheduling tours and what you would want to see and do.
This time we were a party of 2 seniors. We spent a day at Windsor Castle and a day at Hampton Court. Adrian was very kind and tailored the tours to our walking abilities. He was good at getting us very close to the sites. He was able to arrange for us to use the elevator to avoid using the stairs. His knowledge of English history is impeccable. You will have a great time with Adrian and enjoy the sights at your own pace. Don’t hesitate to book with Adrian.

We had a wonderful time with Adrian Rouse, who we really enjoyed. He is personable, a very safe driver, courteous and goes the extra to see that you have a good tour. He located the upcountry village that we visited and made contact with the church officials, who were lovely to visit with in regard to our family ancestry there. He knew where a cute pub was and we lunched there and visited. He is very knowledgeable about London and the area and is willing to share some facts and interesting stories. You will be happy to have Adrian as your London driver, as he is very competent.

My wife and I brought our three sons to London in April 2019. We had two tours with Adrian Rouse of London Tours by Taxi, the Hidden London Tour and a day trip to Stonehenge and Windsor. Both were excellent and Adrian was a wonderful guide. I would highly recommend him.

Throughout our travels, we have been fortunate to experience private tours of many cities and sites throughout the world. I can unequivocally state that the tour with Adrian was the best that we have experienced. Unlike many private tours that limit their involvement to a drop off and pick up at various sites, Adrian personally guided us through the site and provided informative and entertaining information for each site. Other tour companies charge extra for such services.

Throughout the day, Adrian's continuing efforts to create the most enjoyable, informative and efficient tour for my family became readily evident. From offering suggestions on where we can save time so as to maximize the number of sites, to going out of his way to park in the shade so that we can return to a cooler vehicle, his efforts were much appreciated.

We went on a few other private tours in other locations during this trip to Europe, and none of those came close to the quality, experience and value of our tour with Adrian. Thank you Adrian for a wonderful tour. Go Arsenal !!!

We were looking for an opening day London tour for our family but wanted a more customized experience over a hop on hop off bus. We found Adrian online and it was perfect! He met us right at our doorstep, he has a spacious and comfortable car, and he provided a thorough and efficient tour of London.
His humor and historical knowledge were perfect for our teenagers. Adrian was very attentive to our needs and made perfect location stops for walking around at the points of interest. It was quite the insiders tour. Adrian's tour helped miss the crowds and have perfect viewing of London's sites. I highly recommend!!

Fabulous Private London Tour!
We toured London with Adrian in August and had a great experience. During the planning phase, he was prompt in his correspondence and offered many good suggestions. He picked us up at the designated time and off we went. The taxi is immaculate and spacious. Adrian is an excellent driver. We had visited London twice before and and still he showed us so many things we have never seen. Adrian is very knowledgeable about the many areas of London. We took a lunch break and he brought us to a nice restaurant (not included in price) that was reasonably priced and the food was delicious. Prior to our arrival, Adrian had recommended a restaurant for dinner near the theater that we were attending that evening. He suggested that we make a reservation in advance as it gets crowded before the show. He dropped us at the restaurant at the end of our tour. Thanks to Adrian, we had a seamless and enjoyable day. Highly recommend!
