The National Trust- Red House was a truly wonderful experience. You can only visit by guided tour which must be booked in advance but it is worth it. Our tour guide was interesting, funny and very informative.

Utterly excellent. If you love William Morris and the arts and crafts revival you'll be in heaven. The property is immaculately kept as are the gardens. Tickets are cheap and the guides are top notch, with a huge wealth of information at your beckon call.

Guided tour only at the moment.Out of a supposed party of 15 only 7 showed up at the alloted time. Two other couples came late and joined in.Not sure if this system is working.Anyway informative tour of the house and a lovely walk around the beautiful garden.Sadly used to have a tea room but no more.Cut backs after Covid we were told.

Oh wow, I love William Morris! This was my first trip to see this iconic place and I loved it. The guide was very informative and made everything so alive. It was a lovely sunny day and time spent in the garden was a delight too.

A property we have wanted to visit for a long time. It was shut during Covid and has limited opening times. The property is well-staffed and all were very friendly. The gardens are fantastic and well-looked after by volunteers. Take your time to explore the orchard and allotments and take in the sun-trapped spots. When you book your tickets you will experience the talk around the house. This is fantastic and very interesting. I strongly recommend visiting.

The only disappointment is the lack of a small coffee shop or one that is a pop-up attraction. Understandable that there isn't.

Delightful house and garden hidden in the suburbs. Easy to find, which was helpful as we came a long way. Extremely informative and mildly amusing guide. Wish we'd bought a picnic! Caught a glimpse of a fox in the garden too.
