Old Shoreham Toll Bridge

Lovely walk, parked up by the Shoreham Toll Bridge and walked along to Shoreham. Never done the walk before but would do again

Good spot across the river Adur estuary linking Shoreham together with lovely views of the South Downs and sea.

Parked in Old shoreham Road from A27. Pleasant walk into shoreham past the memorial. Less than a mile.

This is a great place, I remember going over this as a child in a car and Dad had to pay. Great views with loads of wildlife.
The walking around here is lovely

A very old toll bridge across the Adur.
Now it's a memorial to those who losr their lives at Shoreham Airshow.

Old bridge now refurbished. when i was a kid there use to be a toll fee to cross, and large holes in the wooden road.
