Great place to visit in the grounds of Dover Castle we got there early so didn't have to wait long for the tour. The guided tour was amazing loads of interesting things that took place in the tunnels during the the wars.

Had to wait half hour, (and that's a good day) but worth it its a guided tour so it's on a timed walk, but u do get to see a bit of the past about dunkerk. Definitely not to be missed. U can take pics or film inside the tunnels.

This is yet another great place to visit .There is plenty to look at .make sure you have some good walking shoes on as there are a lot of tunnels to walk through. You can feel the history & see the thought's of what Henry the 8th was thinking of with this CASTLE it would have been the first thing anyone coming across the channel would have seen at the time.(power) Also the Saxon & roman parts .then there is the part it played in the second world war .So come on visit this major part of our history don't be shy put some coins or notes in there box it costs a lot to maintain. Lastly enjoy.

pictures are not allowed inside the tunnels but the tunnel tour was exceptional. guided tours are every half hour with the groups capped at around 30 people on a first come first served basis. along with the hospital tour this was the highlight of the dover castle visit, all encompassing entry fee at 20£ is worth it.

Our first time back for several years and we enjoyed our visit again. A slightly different tour now from memory. You have a guide take you through the first part, then it becomes self guided. We'll worth a visit and informative.

This modest looking Time Ball museum on Deal seafront hosts an amazing collection of artifacts relating to time communication and sea led memorabilia. I would say it is a must visit if in the Deal area. We spent some time there and thoroughly enjoyed it. The volunteer staff on the day were a mine of information and couldn't have been more helpful. Do yourself a favour and see for yourself you'll enjoy the experience.

An excellent and very emotional experience. Very informative and super audio visual presentations. I didn’t know about their history and key role in the evacuation of Dunkirk. Thank you to our guide Jeff for bringing it to life.

Very interesting site with history running from medieval to WW2. What's not to like about British wartime intrigue and a medieval castle.

Large site and hilly and accessible to wheel chairs and buggies although if you struggle with mobility issues you may have difficulty getting to and from points of interests - they do run an accessible bus service every 15 mins.

Parking could be an issue on busy days.
There will be queues for the tunnel tours which are outside.
