Such a nice place to escape in nature with kids, visited in the winter and there was such a calming atmosphere around. Staff are very friendly and the features in the discovery land are kept well. Took us about an hour and a half to walk around the whole trail, stopping for about 10 minuets for some lunch. Would love to come back in summer to see it. A good price for what it is.

A magical place for adults and children alike. We've been at a few different times of year and there is always something exciting to discover.
Lots of mini adventures on the main trail and quirky wooden builds.

Super good value for money, well run and a great day out for young kids. Lots to discover and plenty of open space. It's also next to a nice garden centre (good for lunch) and farm shop. Recommend bringing a picnic as there are lots of nice spaces for it.

TIP: at the entrance make sure you buy fish food. The lake has an insane amount of fish and the kids will love feeding them. Definitely a highlight.

Love love love!

I'm a nanny and a mum and have been going for years and it's been lovely to see how it's changed over time. It's such a fun cheap morning or afternoon out, especially on particular holidays like Halloween and Christmas.

You can take a pushchair, it is a big hill and will be bumpy but it is doable. Have taken 2.5 year old upwards. Enjoyable for all ages. Recently went with 3.5, 6 and 8 year old and had a lovely time. Love the themes and the different things to explore as you walk round.

Take some change for the wishing well and the tin.

It's always a joy to go. Thanks for the memories!

The toilets have moved ! They are no longer outside. No idea where they are? But they must be inside.

Absolutely brilliant day out. The kids loved it..... Lots to see and the kids loved exploring the pirate ship, treehouse, spider, rabbits rest, sunflower maze. Unfortunately it was raining for the first part but that didn't take anything away from how magical this was. When the sun came out at lunchtime we were able to have lunch and enjoy the sunshine, then the kids found the sandpit. A great day had by all! Looking forward to seeing what they do for Halloween!

We visited for the first time for the Halloween trail and it was completely gorgeous, the grounds of the Discovery Land were beyond beautiful, I can't even find the words for how beautiful it all was. It took us around 90 minutes to walk around, it took us through manicured gardens, fairy dens, wild woods, lots of play/climbing areas and the trail itself was super engaging. Our eldest (6 years old) really wanted to find the culprit!! Our two year old loved looking at all the minute details. Everything was presented in such a thoughtful way. The farm shop is VERY dangerous for the foodies out there!! The pizza van/coffee shop serves delicious grub too. We fell in love with it all. Can't wait to return. Definitely recommend!!
