A nice place. Despite my visit being during a dry spell, the waterfall seemed to be flowing pretty well (see pics).
There is a bridge which makes viewing easy, and the footpath goes through just one small field to a layby where you can park.
The island seen in one of the pics is not easily reached. It appears a lot of mud was washed out from under the roots where the access point was. I would not recommend attempting to climb down there.

This a lovely little place tucked away. A nice little walk around.

Great for kids...

It is a must see if your nearby!

A peaceful shady location. The water was falling and the gorge below the waterfall is picturesque. The riverside is now fenced off and inaccessible because of the danger of landslides.

Can't get down the the bottom, all blocked off. No water coming over the falls(it has been hot though), all overgrown and uninviting, I would bother if I were you

Nice stroll but no much there unless you walk in the river like we did, and at the end of the walk is a little park for kids to play.

We took our 2 ferrets here for a walk and we wanted them to play or go near water but we didnt see access to the water, could see the waterfall from bridge and due to weather the whole place was very slippery me and my boyfriend we both had a fall here.

The Weir had collapsed and it had not rained for a while. This led to the "waterfall" being a small trickle when we were there.
That said, if it was in full flow I think it would have been good to see.
As far as a walk for the dogs, not great the side of the waterfall as a bit short, but the other side of the road are a lot of lovely fields you can walk through with a river for paddling in etc. And rows of blackberry bushes. So overall still a good trip out.
