Lap of Lights Silverstone

Had to leave a positive review after reading the negative reviews, but enjoying it ourselves.
The Silverstone track is huge and so of course much of the track is not lit but it's clear a lot of effort and expense has gone in to this experience. Combined with skating and the Lodge it helped us to get into the Christmas spirit on Christmas Eve. And of course was great to be doing all this at the home of British racing and being able to support the Silverstone team during what I'm sure has been a very difficult time.
Kudos also for the massive enthusiasm and very friendly welcome from all the staff we met.

The lights were great, but I travelled an hour for a 10-15 minute drive around. It’s not a lap of lights at all, more like 1/4 or a lap. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend.

Our first time visiting the lap of lights and won't be the last amazing loved seeing the jolly elves on the way in and all the staff very friendly. Just wow all the way round would recommend.

My parents and I are all huge Formula 1 fans so being able to drive on the Grand Prix track was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed being able to walk in the pit lane and into The Wing which is used for the F1 Paddock Club on the F1 race weekend. The lights were amazing to see and really well done, the radio station was also a nice addition.

Me and my boyfriend visited on the 14th December and absolutely loved it. The lights were amazing and it was a foggy evening which added to the experience. Couldn't believe the amount of lights there were and the effort and time that must've gone into setting it all up.

Went to the lodge for food after our lap and the food was lovely and we didn't think it was a bad price considering where we were. Only disappointment was the £2.50 coke which was tiny and flat but was other places to get a drink.

The staff were all very lovely and helpful. They were full of Christmas cheer that added to the experience.

My boyfriend is a car guy so just being able to visit here was amazing for him but I loved it just as much. We have said we want to do it every year as our Christmas tradition together 🥰

I was getting worried after reading some reviews but we really enjoyed our experience at Silverstone Lap of Lights. Maybe we are easier to please but just the experience of being there and driving on the track was amazing. Some of the lights were fantastic some were pretty and less "wow factor". It was really well organised, the ice skating was fantastic. Staff were enthusiastic and there was a great festive vibe!

I don't understand all the negative reviews. We had a fantastic time driving on the track and then walking round the paddock. The staff were fantastic and there was a wonderful festive atmosphere. Well worth the £30 we paid.

What an amazing start to the Christmas season. 45 minutes of ice skating on a purpose built ice rink in the pit lane!! Plus the chance to drive the Silverstone circuit 1 lap behind a pace car at a very slow speed to see the light and laser show that lighted up the night sky. Extremely well organised, and sign posted . Easy parking. A big shout out to the dancing elves on the roundabout.
