Absolutely breathtaking. Not too far off from Janet's Foss waterfall and an easy walk. Second stop of my day hike before heading towards Malham Cove. The place is stunning, felt so relaxing thanks to the waterfalls and shade. A must visit.

Stunning views and a lovely walk from Janet's Foss in the woodland. Some brave folk were climbing the waterfall at the time but it looked pretty risky and definitely can't be done with a dog in company. There is a path to the left which is still a scramble but easier.

Gordale Scar definitely will leave an impression on you for a long time. Just walking towards this landscape formed thousands of years ago from ice is far more warm and welcoming now. The Danelaw name 'scar'
meaning 'steep rock face', if you don't know like me, will have you looking up in awe. A great place to visit and relax and with the sound of the waterfall nearby just wonderful. Don't take my word for it go and experience it.

Magnificent place. There's an of-road free parking (thank you to another reviewer, I found it easily). Refreshment van opposite to grab a beverage or a snack. Moderate difficulty to walk. However...following other hikers I managed to climb up the waterfall (impressed myself) so there are challenging tracks too- up to your choice. Great place for rock climbing too.

Stunning bit of scenery in the Dales. Very dramatic ravine with a lovely waterfall flowing through it.
There's a great scramble up the waterfall that is fairly do-able, and well worth doing. Also a great spot for climbers.

Difficult climb up, but worthy after the difficulty. Mind the slippery stone, concentrate on your balance. When you stand at the cliff edge, feel the drizzle, you can have a different refreshments. We parked at the Malham national park centre, clean toilets, 5 pounds a day. Cost about 20mins to find a position around 13:00 on Sunday.

It's an amazing place with overwhelming rocks and a nice waterfall and there is a camping place and refreshments as well . Loads of families were there camping and in camper vans . Beautiful spot for camping. You can also do rock climbing as well.
