Great selection of lunch options; especially delicious soups and toasties. A wide variety of cakes and sweets too. And very friendly and attentive waiting staff. Overall a lovely place to come for lunch, and perfect if you're taking little ones to Monty's Farm next door.

Well stocked garden centre, children's animal park and excellent restaurant.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and let you finish your meal without concern over the closing time. Food was excellent, wide choice, very reasonably priced, delicious cakes (with takeaway facilities).
Will definitely be visiting again.

Had never heard of this place before, there was so much more there than expected and everyone very friendly and helpful, from restaurant staff to farm park. They very kindly allowed us to stay on in the park after it closed while they tidied up. We ended up having the place to ourselves and my daughter who can sometimes be shy in busy places loved it. Would definitely recommend it and will be back if ever in the area again. Thank you so much to all the staff.

Lovely place with a great view of the water and hills. Lovely tea room. Although there aren't any vegan options on the menu, just ask for soup/baked potato or salad (could improve these options for sure!). I had soup which was lovely but definitely had plenty of space for cake. Again you have to ask for vegan options and there were 3 delicious ones. To finish off, there is a nice farm shop to wander through and a plant nursery if you are green fingered.

This place has a lovely feel to it! There's a van that sells tea, coffee and hot chocolate with some sheltered seats to sit at and a nice little farm shop that sells some great snacks and other items. There's also a tea room that looks nice and cosy, they sell cakes in there too.
A park area for kids (I think you need to book in advance) and some nice country walks.
The walks were not very well signposted though unfortunately but a nice little day out and not too far from the city.

Very lovely place. Great for Christmas shopping, garden items and plants, or even a coffee and a chat with the friendly staff. Also very obliging as they helped me see my one and only highland cow in my entire Scotland travels. 🐮
Lunch was lovely, too. Not too extravagant. Just nice wholesome meals at a reasonable price, which is very refreshing and appreciated.

I've always loved Ardardan and we have regularly visited for years. The café is fantastic, with a great selection of food and cakes so that you'll never be leaving unsatisfied. The shop is also great, mixing home grown farm food and rarer to find branded food you can always get some unique stuff in the store. This is a perfect place for a day out, between the walks, the garden and food store and the gorgeous café you'll never want to stop coming back once you visit!

Had a great lunch and hot chocolate in the tea room. It all tasted good and priced well. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. There was also loads of tasty looking cake options to have at the counter, we were too full to try any. Had a nice little walk around the estate after to see the animals and a little wander round the garden centre and shop.
