Just lovely and breath taking once you find your way from the road. No parking but the walk was so worth it. No access for prams or wheelchairs. Wear suitable footwear.

We did a nice 2 mile walk from Betws-y-Coed (take Ffordd Craiglan which is a very quite lane with views of the river, the A5 has no footpath so you are walking on the road with traffic at 60mph). Once we arrived we paid £1 each to enter and followed the path, you can go down some steep steps to be at water level and get better views. Due to heavy rain, there was an extreme amount of water flowing through when we where there.
It was a nice view, but not accessible for small children or people with mobility issues. I would actually recommend (especially for families) Llyn Idwal where it is easily accessible to park (for free) and see many beautiful waterfalls close to the mountains.

They only charge £1pp and £1 for parking, but in truth it isn't worth any more. The walkways are very rough, with many tree roots, and the steps down to the falls are uneven, steep and even on a dry day not suitable for any but the fittest. There are many nicer walks in this area that aren't like a route march.

Looks like something out of the Lord of the Rings. Quite a long walk to get to it and it's a very unsafe path down into the Fairy Glen. I'm surprised the National Park Authority hasn't put a hand rail here for safety's sake. A very pretty glen and river. I was also expecting waterfalls which it doesn't have and this disappointed me a bit.

We loved it here. Yes it is a bit slippy and steep in places and you need to be wearing a good pair of sturdy boots. £4 for the whole family and spent a really pleasant two hours here on a lovely autumn day.

This place is stunningly beautiful. Note, it is not free, I was charged £1 for parking and £3 for a family of four by a very stern and unfriendly lady who told me myself and daughter who are autistic shouldn't be allowed to go in so she was doing us a favour! Aside from her it was so worth it. It was frozen in December and the icicles hanging from the rocks and waterfall were breath-taking - although treacherous to walk the very steep cliff edge path. The steps were too icy to get to the water's edge by way of the waterfall but there is a picnic area by the river and you could easily spend about two hours.

Tried to visit here with my son we are both autistic and missed a sign saying we had to pay to walk through a particular gate and were subsequently chased and shouted at across the fields by an agressive woman waving a stick and telling us we weren't allowed to walk there as people with challenges we found the whole experience so upsetting and frightening we just left and went home. Whatever you do do not get the gate wrong it was a really horrible experience and one I've never been through walking anywhere else !

Conwy Falls - well worth the visit, doesnt feel as touristy as Swallow Falls...more natural setting. Beautiful!
