It was great, we went to see the caves n the dinosaurs

What an experience; a great chance to educate children about the wonders of cave formation and the history of the caverns. The dinosaur walk through is surprisingly large and well worth the walk. Paths take you along scenic routes to Bone Cave. This is quite small and crowded (make sure yo do wear the safety helmets provided as the walkway is low). The Shire horses are a sight to behold. Cafe is ok, prices reasonable. Expensive to enter but worth the money. My 11 year old and I spent nearly 5 hours here.

I'm 60... And a massive kid.

Also... They shot a few Dr Who
episodes there.... Mrs is a fan.

Lovely well looked after& well kept shires as part of the showcave day out. Staff very kind, friendly & more than happy to answer any questions especially those of us who dont know much about horses.
They had hug a Shetland pony day which our daughter was thrilled with. So hope they continue this. ( Thankyou so much staff. We had a VERY happy little lady.)

Great family day out in a beautiful surroundings. We booked before heading to the cave which is recommended. Free parking available with a short train ride to the cave entrance.

Brilliant visit. Train up from bottom car park (may be seasonal/summer only please check) caves were fab, be sure to take a jumper. Brilliant selection of dinosaurs both still, moving and ones you can pose in. The animal farm at the bottom carpark was great fun and the mini golf/fun barns good for kids too
