National Rescue Group

Arrived in response to my Start Rescue call, but couldn't solve clutch problem so towed my car to Chessington repair workshop. After difficulty sourcing the required part (which had to be sourced from Belgium), excellent mechanic Rob easily fixed the problem. Communication brilliant and charge for the repair extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were stranded on the M25 today (close to the M3 slip road) heading south after contact with a lorry. Shane came to our rescue after many failed attempts with other roadside assistance numbers. He secured our oversized rear bumper which was hanging free and sorted the electronic systems that had been compromised by the knock. He stayed to ensure the car would then start. It didn't start, so he used his charging facility to get us underway. Even then there were troubles caused by the car go into limp mode which he fixed. Brilliant.

So - I was able to meet Luke through National Rescue Group. To actually book a visit - I had to really Juno through some hoops - because if Green Flag - they insisted on a tow only and no technician. After two frustrating days of arguments and threatening to leave Green Flag they agreed to send out National Rescue Group. And you know what - all that hasstle was worth it to meet Luke. He looks quite young - but his knowledge shines through. Amazingly freindly. The news he gave me wasn't what I'd want to hear - but he is honest. He didn't just take a 2 minute look and refer me to a tow. He spend a few minutes going through where the leaks could be, what the issues could be. He went the extra mile when I picked his brain about possible repairs and costs. Obviously they can only advise and it's not guaranteed - it's just an idea based on preliminary diagnosis. I have a brief chat personally with him too - as he is a very personable guy - I was extremely impressed. National Rescue Group ? He is an asset to your company and its a shame that we can't give more than 5 stars on this review. Great guy, amazing service - debunks all the myths about people in the car industry. Honest. Insightful, genuine, and a pleasure to deal with. Really glad I had the opportunity to seek his advice. Thank you NRG. Thank you Luke.

28th July 2022. I called Greenflag and they sent NRG. I was lucky to again benefit from Luke's help. This time it was a damaged tyre. Rather than just trying to quickly replace it and run off, Luke checked the air - tried pumping it up, and checked if the tyre was at all salvageable. As it wasn't he then went through the process of fitting the spare - which meant undoing a complex bolt from inside to release the spare from under the car - definitely not an easy task that I could do myself. He fitted the spare and pumped it up. 5star service from a 5 star gentleman. Thanks again Luke.

I was taking the family out to dinner earlier today for my wife’s birthday. We used my dads 5 series, which chose today to breakdown on the A3. I get recovery via my bank account. I called the emergency number, via Green Flag, who put the call in to National Rescue to collect us. The driver, Elliot, arrived quicker than expected. He was a real gentleman, putting safety first and patient getting the car onto his truck and waiting for me to transfer some property from the car. He took us home- nice , courteous and safe drive back as well. 5 stars to Elliot and National Rescue. Use with confidence.

I broke down earlier this week, the Master Cylinder had failed resulting in my Clutch to stop working so I couldn't engage the gears. Luke (R10) who arrived in the Recovery Truck diagnosed the problem quickly. Given that my own garage couldn't fit me for two weeks rang his colleague Rob who agreed to investigate and repair my car over the following two days.

Luke took my car on his Recovery Truck to National Rescue Repair at Chessington the same evening. Rob examined my car the following morning and fitted a new clutch master cylinder within 48 hours.

I have to say excellent and very professional service from both Luke and Rob. The Guys were both personable, helpful, provided really good customer service and are a credit to your organisation.

A young lad came out to help me, it was a tricky situation where I reversed in the dark and a bollard got trapped between my front wheel and bonnet. I could not steer out of it, he lifted the van with a pump and pulled it with his truck. I watched in amazement at the level of skill this young man had, nobody else had a clue how to remove my van from this awkward situation and the RAC said that it could require special equipment costing thousands.. He literally saved me thousands of pounds!! Highly recommended!

I required our car to be towed from an independent garage to a Ford garage for a warranty repair. The staff in the office and the tow driver were polite and professional. The tow truck arrived when planned and dropped off our car at the Ford garage without any hassle. The price was reasonable and I would definitely recommend.

Fortunate enough to be collected late afternoon 23rd December, via Green Flag.The pick up driver Iiu was excellent. He contacted Rob at Chessington as my regular garage was closed, who said to bring it in.Thought the alternator had packed in.Great news! Car collected Christmas Eve, with a new fan belt. Great honesty, great service. Will be having my Polo serviced there in future. Give them a try.
