Toy Galaxy - Dentons Toys & Cycles

Good service but kind of a rip off. I brought 1 tyre and it was 16 pounds. 2 hours later and I went to decathlon and a pair of road bike tyres for £17 I would recommend decathlon very cheap and reliable

I called this store today to order a toy for my son who just came out from hospital. The Staff were very friendly, they came out of there way to help, even called me on camira to make sure its the right toy for my boy.
Gift wrapped the toy and found a taxi driver to deliver, and texted me after to check if its received.
The toy was only for 16£ but the service was for 1 million,

In my own opinion ..
something isent quite right with the bike shop .
1. I was told to scrap my bike through them as it’s not “road worthy” although I only had the bike 6 days 😂 and cost me £298.99 New!
2. I’m told it will cost me £250 for one new wheel , a new chain mechanism & a new rod including labour fees.. 🤔
3. I’m also told the wheel is really badly bent ( my other 2 quotes told me my wheel it self is straight and not bent in the slightest)
4. I did 2 other quotes and was told It would be £100-£130 max (including labour)
5. I then go to find out the previous 2 customers I know personally that he dealt with , he also told them “strangely” the same story’s .. that they are not safe to ride and should be scrapped through him again funny enough 🧐
.. I believe he is over charging people & taking their bikes off them for “free” & doing them up good again & re selling them .. con artist ! Do not use this shop for bikes.. for toys yes! But bikes no way! 😤

The toy shop I can not fault. HOWEVER the cycle department are a disgrace. Telling me to scrap my NEW racing bike as it would cost to much money to fix, funny enough they’ll scrap it for you 👍 I took my bike else as I thought this was strange. I had it fixed for £100 and they cannot on earth understand how I was quoted £250 from Dentons. Absolute disgrace trying to con innocent people out of pocket in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC with the whole country out of work these people are trying to pull your pants down

Having just opened after the lockdown, I'm very impressed with this store. You get the usual great friendly service with full consideration for social distancing. Also a great sale at this moment in time.

Saw couple of things in there, as i always do, i check prices on internet and it was £10 cheaper on line so i asked if they do price promise as most places do, lady was very rude shouted at me "no" and i apologised as i was only asking if they do price promise cos if they did, i would have brought it there and then, lady again was so rude to me so i left the shop! I wont be shopping in there again....

Good selection of toys for most ages.

Did not buy anything from the toy shop but spoke with the two lads in the bike shop.
Very knowledgeable and helpful.
A couple of really nice lads. Give them a shout if you need anything bikes.
