I got stuck on the train 2/3/2018 from Birmingham New Street to Bristol Temple Meads & then From there to Exeter St Davids because the Snow was so bad. When i finally got there It was hours later then I was meant to arrive so there was no way of me getting to Batnstaple & I was then stranded at 2.00am. There were No Taxis running and no hotel rooms available near there. Overall it was an awful experience!

Great station. Super clean. Well maintained and staff enforcing social distancing and the wearing of face coverings. Get the 6 or 6a bus from outside the station, direct to Okehampton and Dartmoor.

Getting on and off the train is no problem; it's when you are waiting for a bus and desperately need the toilet, only to find out the actual station has no toilet facilities apart from on platforms 1 and 5. When you've been travelling all day and have baggage, the last thing you want to do is have to go all the way back through the station to a platform just to find a toilet... it's not very accessible. Also, not enough bins! There are no bins that I can see along the front of the station. Nightmare!

I write today to honour the amazing Safety Operatives at Red Cow Level Crossing. They are always on hand to ensure the safety of all crossing users, no matter what mode of transport they employ! Daydreamers like me would surely be as flat as a pancake by now if it wasn't for the protection they offer us 365 days a year.

Thanks so much! Keep doing what you're doing cause you do it really well! We owe you our life and limbs!

Regular trains to Okehampton/Exmouth/Barnstaple on branch lines and national destinations ie Aberdeen/London/Penzance and all points in between.

Announcements are very loud and repetitive.. Our train from Paddington was delayed that is why we had to wait for connection train for too long.. I don't know whether it is mandatory but loud repeating the same message about minding the gap and door closing even when no train.. Caused us migraine..
Getting on and off the train is no problem.. It is time demanding when with luggage but no problem.. Lifts were working fine.. Acceptable state of WC.

I met an incredibly helpful person called Corrinne who helped me get on the train whilst having a foot injury. They were very kind and thoughtful, thank you!
