Railway station with plenty of parking, and is close enough to the town centre. Large waiting area and drinks available. Friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand to offer assistance when required.

Train was cancelled meaning we would miss our connection to camforth for train back to west yorkshire. The lovely guy I spoke too took us to office phones his boss up and they booked and paid for a taxi for us so we will make th connection. Long journey as well thank you so much

The station is nice for a town with a little express cafe/convenient store. But a quite one so I don't know why they need two security staff at the two gates I don't like that. Maybe if they didn't get rid of ticket offices and reduce the number of staff standing around watching you they could reduce the increases in ticket prices. Lastly the woman at the service counter was quite smug when I arrived at peak time and immediately got out her term of conditions pamphlet and proceeding to advice me next off peak train I could take was over 3 hours away and that I should pay double to go now. I didn't I waited and went right back and she did not look happy I out did her.

Barrow train station is very good station, v were here for about 30 min to catch another train...

As a passenger on the North Western Railway's Wild Nor Wester express service, when I arrived to barrow I was greeted warmly by staff. Very good station!
