Ashford International

Nice big station serving Ashford. Three train services operate here providing trains to multiple destinations around Kent. Trains and platforms are easy to find and get to, staff and helpful at getting where you need to be. The facilities are OK however I did find there was a lack of seating on one of the platforms. The station is definitely easily accessible with lifts to each platform.

On a late night after a long hospital shift I was met by a rail replacement bus instead of a high speed rail train to Canterbury west station.
When getting on the bus I was refused entry due to having an E-scooter. Due to me booking a train and not a replacement bus you can imagine my surprise to being refused entry.
With no way to get home and a wasted ticket and not being a local I was assisted by supervisor Jim his colleague Jo and another colleague a man with glasses and brown hair. They assisted me in getting home and I am really grateful. Great people

Rude staff. I was driving into the station today to catch a train and was looking for a parking but as usual no space was available. As I was turning, one of the station staff came shouting at me through my half open window saying “look at the pedestrian crossing”! I was shocked as there were no pedestrians other than this guy there and certainly no pedestrian crossing. Just to let the staff know - shouting at someone on the wheel is a form of intimidation and bullying and makes chances of accidents higher. I hope the station staff can look into their CCTV and identify this man. Also, most of the times their ticket machines are broken and the staff issuing tickets are very grumpy and unfriendly.

The man at the front sent me to plt 1 when my train was on plt 5 long walk in this heat ! He needs more training or just take a minute to check for customers! Not good if I had 5 kids with me and just wanted to get home! I had no kids but still take your time and give the customer the best and right information!!!!!!

Nice clean and easily maneuvered station. Plenty of disabled parking and lifts to platforms. Good signage and public information screens.

Station OK BUT gents toilets under refurbishment at the moment. 20/11/22

Such a cool station that feels like you're at an airport more than a train station! Services by bus and train offer such varied options and such great trains

Ashford internal rai station is one of the biggest if not the biggest train station with a lot of foot traffic. It connects several railway lines, including High Speed 1 and the South Eastern Main Line. Domestic trains that call at Ashford are operated by Southeastern and Southern, and international services by Eurostar. There are also buses popping by, they operated by stage coach. There is option of paying via machine or via staff at the booth.
