Arriving at Sturry, myself & a colleague were horrified to see that the ticket machine wasn't accepting debit cards. Having just completed a 12 hour shift & needing to get home to London we had no idea where we'd find a cash machine. However the ticket office attendant Megan proved to be a life saver! Not only did she issue our tickets, but was also able to advise the quickest route & know the train times off her head, including the connection at Ashford. Well done Megan & thanks!

It's a good place to get a train from. The level crossing annoys me so it loses a few stars.

Quaint railway station - excellent for travelling by train - they come and go here. So long as you know what direction you need to travel & the platform you need, you should be OK but remember should you need to get to the other platform, you have to leave the station, walk up the road, across the level crossing and enter the other half of the station. Don't try to travel from here if you've been drinking - you'll only have a 50-50 chance of getting where you want to go.

Gorgeous station, only marred by the hassle of crossing between the two platforms!

Consistently outstanding customer service from the station staff.
