Pretty nice train station, staff always very friendly!

Generally this station is ok. Currently it has ongoing improvement works on the front of the station which means that the drop off area in the car park and the Bruton Way entrance are been closed. This can clog the car park up a little if people are waiting for passengers onboard trains.
There are regular services to the West Midlands, South Wales and Bristol areas, with some trains going further afield.
There are plenty of seats on platforms 1 and 4, while on platform 2 there is limited seating and platform 3 (although very rarely used) there is no seating. There are toilets available on platform 1, as well as departure boards and passenger information screens available on all platforms. Bins are also available on all platforms.
Make sure you give yourself plenty of time at this station as to walk to platform 1 it does take a while. Signage to the platforms (although adequate at above head height) could be improved. There also needs to be better signage over to the bus station.
This station is fully accessible, there is step free access to all platforms (there is a lift available to get to/from platform 4). There are audible announcements, as well as tactile markings on the platform. Station staff are available through the day for passenger assistance.

Just a 20 mins visit so the walk is around the railway station. Since the time is Saturday evening, most shops are closed. The area seems will go through restoration project but at this moment it looks little bit dull.

Renovations at the front, poor signs for alternative pedestrian footpath coming from town, got there to hear the age old announcement....if I can have your attention please....we are sorry to announce...... One train on platform cancelled, replacement bus service etc at front of station to Cheltenham and other places

Plenty of services such as a nice cafe and a bathroom that's relatively clean for a train station toilet. The doors on the seating area mean that you don't have to talk over the sound of the trains, and there are lifts to get between platforms.

Absolutely disgusting. Not helpful staff. Blamed myself for using online service for why there jobs are at risk . ? Really with your attitude iam surprised you have job . Iam disappointed really . As someone who needs some help and also suffers with anxiety and have disabilities. I really don't need your staff looking down there nose at me or anyone else like that . Maybe you should go on a customer care course. Never judge a book by its cover . !

Gloucester Station tries really hard and is only ever let down by understaffing on the trains and the station itself. Staff are always helpful.
