Good narrow gauge railway experience. Well worth the trip with pubs each end for a pleasant meal and drinks while waiting for the train back. Turn up early for train back at busy times to get the seats you'd like.

Really amazing what they have done here and with all the possible walks from this station its a must see stop off even if your not using the railway. Nice straight forward cafe with excellent pies and lakeland ice cream at reasonable prices too. Good toilets and gift shop and brilliant views.

Kinds will love it! Get on a choo-choo and discover the area, especially on a sunny day. Some of the carriages don't have the roofs allowing passengers fully enjoy surrounding landscape.
At the station itself there is a coffee shop and a gift shop. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
There is also a toilet at the station if needed.

A splendid day out for the family. The railway is located within stunning scenery. The £15.50 return for an adult (2019) is pretty good value given that the journey took around 40mins and theres a lot of track/engines that needs to be looked after.

Great little station not far from Boot. Can take dogs inside in the downstairs cafe. Highly recommend the Thunder and Lightning ice cream. Can also access beautiful walk up to waterfall from this station

Excellent train ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale steam railway. Such good fun for kids, well laid out for social distancing, play park was open and suitable for a range of ages.
