Very basic station with a single platform, waiting room shelter and ticket office (which isn't always open.) No regular buses serve the forecourt, requiring you to walk down the road to the high street for connecting buses.

It is a peaceful area to go for a run in the morning, good to see the peaceful country side and animals, recommend place to visit.

Never any staff in the ticket office. Trains just cancel without notice or explanation. Poor

With the ticket office closed off most of the time, the arrangement is such that there's no waiting room as staff lock all the doors. As a result there is no shelter with the 3 benches on the platform exposed to the rain and wind.
So if you can't stand for long under the pitifully short canopy or are disabled in some way, you're going to have a miserable time in bad weather.
At least you can look through the station windows at the empty benches locked away safe in their cosy room! There's even some nice books to read and a photo booth. But you can't use them, only stare longingly.
Railtrack management fails again.

This station is really good every half an hour for a train in to London. Walton on Thames is the same but Walton On Thames being the main line has a lot of commuters so it’s best to go to Shepperton. And the trains are modern at Shepperton even though it is a branch line. Walton On Thames has all the old trains
