Good station. Low traffic. Not as congested as some others. Cool looking places around. Very simple procedures. Trains seem to be reliable. Cannot tell if that is actual or just visitor's luck. I like the mixture of urban and antique feeling in the town. Could be a serious tourist spot.

- End of the line for Elizabeth Line / Crossrail (once it opens...)
- Smart new building with feature laminated wood ceiling
- WHSmith with coffee shop
- Toilets on platform side of barrier
- Piano here too

Staff more interested in being on their phones than helping members of the public. Other than that the station is open air, well designed and fairly easy to navigate. Just hope you don’t need the staff for any reason.

This station is now served by the Elizabeth line Abbey Wood is the last stop on this line for the Elizabeth line. Also Thameslink & southeasten services stop at this station too with trains going to London Bridge, Kentish Town & also Kent. The station has had a major upgrade to it with lifts & escalators put in & also a new side entrance & exit. This station has ticket barriers.

Last stop on the Elizabeth line to the east. This is an open station so you might get wet. Step off train and turn left to exit station. The station building has an interesting wooden ceiling. If you venture out there is little to do or see. There is no need to rush at this station as Elizabeth line trains are pretty frequent.

Went to visit Lesnes Abbey Wood Park which is a few minutes away from the Abbey Wood Elizabeth Line station. The first time I ever went there and first impressions is that it's very spacious. You have the massive Sainsbury's superstore to the left of you as you come out the station and if you walk over the bridge you will find Lesnes Abbey Park with some beautiful green spaces.

We've seen Abbey Wood metamorphose over the years and very recently, the Elizabeth line has further improved the area making it easier to commute through central London and a host of other locations such as Paddington, Heathrow, Reading and Shenfield.
