Rubbish station ever because don't have lifts & ramp slope for wheelchairs & pushchair & heavy luggage user.
Me & my girlfriend went holiday London on 14th May, my luggage is heavy much hard to carry upstairs & downstairs on other side platform.
Long wait every 1hr West Midlands train arrived but many Virgin train didn't stop.
Need improve build new lift & slope

Very limited parking. If the station operators thought about it they would clear the moss away from half the unused lane and increase capacity thus encouraging more drivers to leave their cars and use the trains!!

Its great going to Bham. Trains are regular off peak. Get there early and park over the road for £3.0 all day or use the train car parks front, next door or at the back £6.0 all day.

A perfectly situated station for those living nearby, though the access arrangements on the Lichfield side could definitely be improved - I don't like having to share the narrow roadway with cars jostling for position. Now that elevators are being installed, access for disabled passengers should be improved substantially. :)

Well it does the job of providing interchange between the West coast mainline and cross city line not that well. The cross city platform lacks any form of step free access, either exiting or changing trains.

Main line trains aren't frequent, usually every hour and Cross City trains run every 30 minutes typically. Facilities are nothing special however the station has two large car parks on each side of the station which is nice. Not the best or the worst station either.

Lichfield Trent Valley has improved over the last ten years, with the services on the line to London now being hourly during most of the day, a new station building, additional car park and lifts. The station building has toilets for male, female and mobility impaired customers. The ticket counter can be raised or lowered if necessary. There are ticket vending machines at the station; in the car park off Old Burton Road and by the steps up to platform 3. A covered cycle rack is in the car park by the station building. The station now has step-free access to all platforms after lifts were commissioned in June 2020. The car park adjacent to the station building isn’t in the best state (quite a few potholes) and the parking spaces fills up quickly on weekday mornings. This isn’t an issue in July 2020 thankfully! There are waiting shelters on all platforms, as well as customer information boards and loudspeaker announcements.

It's a well kept station. Good lift service and facilities. Platform 3 for trains to Lichfield city which is high level.

Going to Birmingham International Airport. Tickets office is closed but tickets machines are working. Phone app guided me to combination in Birmingham New Street to airport.
