Popped into the ticket office in Taunton today to purchase a rail card and some tickets. I was served by one of the most helpful and courteous customer service agents ever. Well done and thank you Stewart - you really went the extra mile and made my day! So nice to be able to buy my tickets from a real person face to face and come away with exactly what I wanted.

Most of the station has been recently refurbished and is much nicer than it used to be. A visit to Dashi it's recommended! And be careful with the pigeons on platform 5...

My partner, who disabled and in a wheelchair and I, would like to send our sincere thanks to all of the staff who assisted us yesterday, which was the day after the rail strike. There were train delays, but you worked non stop with grace, humour and professionism, to take care of us and many others get on trains to our destinations. We'll done!

Details from National Rail don't align, Dashi on Platform 2 is permanently close. Starbucks remains open.

Clean railway station with clear signs and information. Clean toilets. Coffee shop. Indoor waiting area off platform for bad whether or long breaks in journey.

Not a bad little station not big like some. The London and Cardiff trains stop on platform 2. Nice big clean toilets and a waiting room. Cafe as well. Barriers to get out the station.
