Small station which can get incredibly overpacked in peak times. Recent construction work has eased the entry area from a small cramped space to much larger which is better. A few cafes and what not with a small lounge area which is usually full. As far as train stations to, its decent, but not the best.

Incredibly beautiful University Town

If you are in London, the 1.5 hour bus ride to Cambridge is well worth the trip! Go punting on the river Cam and enjoy a cold beer and picnic in the park by the quay. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets and soak up the history and architecture as you revel in the stunning prestious universities that are famous all the world round. The Mathematical Bridge is amazing!!! Highly recommended all around!

Really bad information today regarding cancellations and delays. The boards are useless, even showing a 10.05 to King's Lynn that didn't exist 🤷. Thank goodness for lovely, helpful, happy Luke, platform staff, he went over and above to help us all.

So far out of the city centre. Plus our train got cancelled going back- staff were very kind and helpful (hence the extra star), but we were provided a taxi service that left 2 hours after the expected time. Was easier to get someone to come from our destination and pick us up.

Fantastic station. Outstanding facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Station is clean and well organised. Very calming scenery outside the station and on different train routes closed to Cambridge.

So much history and culture with the town. Diversity is abundant with many people from different backgrounds. Strong business links with many prestigious blue-chip to traditional companies in the surrounding areas and need l say 2 universities with the prestigious Cambridge university with it various colleges. Top attractions will also include punting on River cambs and a trip to the various drinking dens it's a must dotted all around the city. Best time to visit is summer undoubtedly but also has good Christmas markets in the run up to the cold periods.
