Brings back childhood memories of holidaying down the line and waiting for the link to Blaenau to be finished.
Station is a credit to the volunteers running the railway, and set in a town full of the history of slate mining.

So adorably British! Great service, and really fun experience.

Great experience traveling on the narrow gauge steam loco engine.
Very scenic and brought back old memories of traveling by huge steam engine trains in India.
Basics of Engineering; I think, this experience should be part of every student getting into college of engineering.

Pleasent BUT takes time to know and understand the Town...it's a creation from/of the slate quarries the charm is discovering that symbiosis and the people ....best enjoyed with an understanding of life

A lovely little mountain town station. Very cute with views of mountains towering over all around. It has national rail services as well as the local steam mountain train. Would definitely recommend a visit and walk up a mountain nearby.

The station has one platform which is used by mainline trains which terminate and turn around to run to Llandudno via the Conwy Valley line. As of July 2022 The station sees 6 trains per day, these leaving at 0624, 0846, 1135, 1456, 1738, 2025. The journey is about an hour to Llandudno Junction for connections to Holyhead, Chester and South Wales, and about 1hr 15 minutes to Llandudno Town. At the station there is a footbridge connecting to the smaller steam railway which leads to the Cambrian coast. There is a co op and Mcolls nearby
