Parking so convenient and very reasonable €12.50 for 24hrs.you can literally walk into the station from the car.great for pick ups also.location is fantastic for exploring shops and restaurants

There is nothing more romantic than a lovely old railway station, with its endless possibilities and thrills of travel.
Back here 8 months since my last visit, and things have developed. The plaza to the front of the station is a wonderful sunny place to sit and enjoy a coffee. Pret and M&S Simply Food are the headline acts, and there is a mini Tesco sitting shyly around the corner.
Plenty of parking on the South side of the station.
The staff were very helpful and I was able to get up to the platform to meet the incoming train.. and also to see the outgoing train off.

Friendly staff, station pretty poor for a capital city. No bins on site. Rubbish must be thrown to the ground for litter pickers to collect on their round. No baby changing facilities which is poor. No disabled toilets?
The toilets are absolutely stinking. Had to change a toddler in cubical due to no changing facilities available and a mission to avoid human waste and germs.
Minimum seats provided.
Station management has gone down hill!

Nice Station in the centre of Cardiff. Great hub for slow stopping services around wales and fast services to London Paddington. You could get on a train and be on the other side of the country in a few hours.

External Victorian facade looks great! This is a generally well maintained station. Central Square and the stadium are a short walk from here. The external areas have received an upgrade - so pleasant to walk from the town centre to the station - safe, clean and well lit. There is a good-sized pay-and-display carpark . Plenty of food choices when you enter the station. The station authorities have refurbished the toilets. They have installed more ticket machines and new phone charging points,

A great train station that links back to Isimbard Kingdom Brunel. Part of the great Western railway system, it has so many little marks to this time. With a smiths inside and a spar, you can get a lot of good stuff for a journey. With connections to most of the west if UK, south, and excellent links to London, it is a great train station.

Help desk are always friendly and useful. Security is awful -- they stand way too close to you, really enjoying intimidation. Doesn't sound that big a deal, but I'm 15 and I'm an anxious traveller. If I need help, security is the last place I'll go to, which defeats the purpose

Absolutely amazing station, great amenities and has a wide range of services. Really well connected, not too far from bus stands or the taxi rank.
