Epsom railway station

The mind boggles as to why this station is still not in the London Oyster Card zone yet Gatwick Airport, which is almost twice as far away as Epsom, is in the zone.

I've never bothered using this station again, I was actually put off going into Epsom at all because I knew I wouldn't be able to get on the train from Epsom and would need to get a bus first.

You can't use your Oyster card here but for some reason you can use it at Gatwick Aiport, Epping and Shenfield which are over 22 miles away from London. Heck you can even use an Oyster card at Epsom Downs which I would say is further than Epsom!

Friendly staff, right by Tesco express, good links to many places including Dorking, Guildford, Sutton and Clapham junction, toilets on both platforms, adequate supply of trains which are usually on time (though not always)

Staff are rude, facilities are either out of order or so filthy that it makes you sick. I had to change my toddler on the floor, absolute nightmare. Will avoid this place at all costs in the future.

This is a good station, it has been taking Oyster and contactless cards for 4 years now, however the station can be a bit dirty. There is a disabled toilet and plenty of step free access, however there is no changing table for babies. There are other good facilities as well such as shops and cafes. Trains run to London Waterloo, London Victoria, London Bridge, Guildford, Dorking and Horsham

Helpful staff, clean loos, decent number of trains and the Tesco Express next door is very useful. Not sure why it has so many bad reviews!

Joke staff that don't look up from their phones unless they are creeping on girls backsides.
I tapped my card in the barrier then saw my train wasn't for another 25 mins.
So I waited for the rush of people to tap out and asked the guy on the barrier if he could let me out just so I could use my vape.
It was difficult to get his attention because I kept saying excuse me mate and he was more interested in staring at a ladies behind that had just gone through.
Other than checking out women he was glued to his phone but told me he hadnt seen me tap in.
Well your staring down at your phone mate not at your job. Also to blank me for ages to stare at the woman's behind was 100% awkward.
Sort the staff standards out because that was a complete joke.

Man at ticket office was awfully rude.Didnt want to clarify my train connections on Sunday when normal schedules were changed. He just told me to do what I like .Found the experience unpleasant
