We sent the box to sri lanka, unfortunately it's almost 4 months, such a disgusting service. Still we haven't received the box. Every time we call they have something to tell. We understand the fuel situation. But still 4 months. And they waiting to deliver the box, after they received other shipment. Please I'm advising no one to use this service. Very unhelpful team. This kind of people shouldn't do business like this. The reason we sent the box for our special event. Unfortunately trusting this people I have learnt the lessons. This people shouldn't do any delivery service.

Hi Glen carriers, Today (13/4/22) I've called your shipping company in London, to get new rates (charges) and changes. The call has been diverted to the Customer Services in SriLanka, which this kind of good service wasn't there before with this company. I also want to mention that a lady named "Shamila" talk to me as a Customer Service agent in SL, and she has given me a top class & wonderful service with much information about the services and charges. I am totally happy and admire of her Customer Service and communications with good attitudes. Hence I decided to put this comment on the company Google site. I believe that Glen Carriers shipping Ltd, will keep this service for permanently, as it is very helpful to all kind of customers. Thank you.

I shipped some items with Glen carriers based on door to door delivery. However, when goods reach srilanka( 5 months Later) goods was not delivered( which I paid )to my house as they promised me in the uk office. I had to contact the guy who supposed to deliver them and he was not willing to deliver stuff hence he was keeping the package in his house somwhere in matale complaning that he dose not have fuel to deliver them to the address in srilanka.i insisted him to iether deliver my stuff or provide me with the details of which I can come and collect my package.he deliberately ignored my calls and phone was switched off everyime I tried to reach him. Eventually i ended up going to his house collect the goods from his house which was absolutely unacceptable. All I got to say to the customers who gose there thinking these guys are reliable they are not. Not only unreliable
but stuff would go missing( many
items gone missing) . My advice is when you send goods with them please take notes of the stuff you send otherwise u will sincerely regret later. I would never recommend them to anyone else. I rate 1 star with 0% customer service.

I have been using Glenn Carries for almost a decade now for sending door to door boxes to SriLanka. I find them extremely competitive in price, excellent service always willing to help customers going beyond their call of duty. The customer service is fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone!

The company has been around for decades- my parents and family used to use it regularly. It seems to be a very different company now and must be under different management. Last month (Nov ‘21) a large theft out of 2 of 3 of our boxes by the time they arrived in the provinces in Sri Lanka was met with no comment from the delivery drivers in Sri Lanka and no response from the UK manager to 3 phone calls (message given directly to a staff member) and 2 emails over the span of 3 weeks. It is surprising that a modern day company can have this level of poor communication. There is nothing we can do to retrieve the stolen items but it is the consistent refusal of the company to respond to our early enquiries that is most surprising. This is not the same Glen Carriers that built the reputation we and many others once trusted. There seems to be no admin staff there now to handle enquiries and provide customers with a basic service. We will not be using them again.

Please please please do not use this company. Firstly, they shipped my 2 boxes via sea instead of air, meaning it took 10 weeks instead of 2.
Secondly, and i believe this is criminal, they actually REPACKED my boxes, cramming one box into the other, i imagine so it was cheaper for them to ship. This caused literally hundreds of pounds worth of damage to my items. Devastating and some things irreplaceable. I feel absolutely violated
I have called and they continuously tell me they will call back. Ive emailed, but they just ignore it

I dont know if this can be escalated legally but i will sure as hell look into it

I sent my items on a shipment that was suppose to leave on the 14th Dec 2020. Found out it didn’t depart U.K. until late Jan. it was then told the shipment would reach on 9th March. Again there has been a delay and now the shipment gets to Colombo late March!
When they collected the box, it was supposed to be delivered in Colombo in 6 weeks. Now it is going to be over 14 weeks! Most of the items in the box would have perished by then.
I understand that some of this is beyond their control. But then at least we need to be compensated for the delay and items perished.
Very unprofessional.
