Used this company for my trip to Egypt, stayed in Hurghada for a few nights and then went to Luxor where I cruised the nile. Well arranged trip, good hotel, nice boat, professional service. Would use again.

We booked out holiday via Broadway Travel under the umbrella of Egypt Escapes. Useless sales team. Never ever book through Broadway travel. Big con. Be very careful if you use Broadway travel as they do not give quotes or information in writing. Everything is verbal.

It was a package holiday including flights, cruise and 3 nights in Hurghada which was advertised as £499.00for 10 days, full board on cruise + excursions, all inclusive in Hurghada. We were also asked them that our family from Kenya would like to join us on this holiday to which they agreed that it would cost £799.00 pp with flights. We also told them that they would be flying to Cairo rather than Hurghada and would arrange their own transportation to Hughada as Broadway Travel/meeting point would not arrange transport. However, when we were about to pay for the holiday, they increased the price for 4 people who were travelling from Kenya to another £100 pp. Unfortunately, as our family had already booked the flights we had to pay what the asked. When we received the invoice, this £100 pp that they charged was nowhere to be seen, nor was there a break down of the cost for accommodation and excursions, transfers, etc. They just sent us an invoice averaging out the cost so it was difficult for us to ask our family members for this extra £100.00. On top of that, they were never clear about the transfers from Hurghada to Luxor and back, we assumed it was by plane when actually it was by coach which is about 4 hours drive. They only sent us a standard itinerary without any dates, i.e. what day were we doing what. They said Meeting point will explain everything when we get there. They also booked a day trip for us to Cairo whilst our stay in Hurghada without explaining to us that we would be going at 3.00 a.m. in morning and returning at 11.00 p.m. in the evening. How coud we stay in the expensive hotel if we went to Cairo. Luckily we were able to cancel this and get a full refund when we realised the travelling time. Therefore, basically, their sales team and customer service is rubbish. If we were given proper information, we could have booked one way cruise Luxor to Aswan 4 days, flown to Cairo, stayed for 2 nights there and then 3-4 nights in Hurghada. There were other 3 travellers who also had booked via Broadway travel and said they were useless.

Then there was cost regarding optional excursions. We were given the price of £80 pp by Broadway travel for Abu Simbel Temples, however, when we got there, Meeting point who was going to looking after us when in Egypt, told is the cost was £99 pp. We told them that we were quoted £80.00 and they said the Broadway travel must have old information.

I cannot fault the service provided by meeting point and staff on the cruise and Jasmine Resort in Hurghada. Our guide on excursions on the cruise was Ahmed and he was excellent. Regarding the food , unfortunately, for vegetarians, there is limited choice for main courses although the chef on the cruise did try and make a couple of items for us. Of course there were plenty of salads. The only issue I would like to point out is about the tips. We had to pay £27.00 pp relating to tips on the outset to Meeting Point who give all that to the staff equally. However, the staff who clean the rooms expect extra tips from us. We also had to give tips to the kitchen staff, as we are vegetarians and they had to cook special couple of items for us so we felt obliged to give them extra tip. In the end, we ended giving a total of £50.00 pp in tips.

They are a SCAM and never ever book with them..!!!!!

Recently returned from a Nile cruise and hotel stay booked with Egypt Escapes. From booking to the holiday itself, everything went smoothly and well. The Jasmine Palace hotel was great, wonderful staff, good facilities and plenty of food choice. We stayed on the wonderful Semiramis 3 Nile cruise and that too was superb. A real treat to sail down the Nile on this boat.

Thanks to all the team and reps that made the trip unforgettable.

Well thought through pre travel information and itinerary. Helpful and knowledgeable guides. The ship was very clean and comfortable with spacious cabins looking out on the Nile. Excellent food, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Itinerary covered a wide variety of tours enabling us to get a wide view of life in Egypt, its history and amazing sites and landscapes. Felt safe at all times. Amazing experience...would recommend to anyone.

We had such a great time in Egypt! We went in January staying in Hurghada for a few nights at the Jasmine Palace which was pretty decent. The beach is lovely and the pools are big with one of them heated which is needed as the others seem to be impossibly cold! Mind you, we spent most of our time in the sea water snorkelling anyway which is amazing. I recommend getting one of those full face snorkel masks if you can they work really well.
Booking was easy. Amanda was very kind and knowledgeable in putting together our itinerary for us nicely.
I thank you very much Egypt Escapes and Harry for sorting our Nile cruise when we arrived as we were on full board but decided to upgrade to all inclusive as we made some lovely friends who were also all inclusive so we wanted to drink with them in the evenings.
We loved cairo and pyramids by air trip and always wanted to go. Dave sorted our flight check in from Luxor airport and then we flew back to Hurghada to stay for a few more nights at the labranda makadi bay which was a really good hotel.
People in Egypt that we met could t do enough for us and made our trip really special holiday that we would love to do again one day.
Weather is nice even in winter but the days are short still just like in uk. In summer it must be too hot I imagine.
Thanks all.

Great holiday to Egypt in January thanks so much. We went to desert rose in Hurghada first for 4 nights which was good. Big hotel with great facilities and the snorkelling on the beach was very good quality. There was a small sandy beach you could enter the water from or from the long jetty. We then did a Nile cruise which we loved, it is a real experience. The we went to Cairo for a day and flew back to Hurghada for last 4 nights at Caribbean world in soma bay. If this is the sort of itinerary you want then I really can approve it for you.

Spoke to agent and he couldn’t do enough for me, even though I must have rang him four times during a day wanting to know different information.
Wonderful from start to finish. Guide on the boat Mohammed was excellent . All transfers went smoothly. Thank you for a holiday of a lifetime

Cannot begin to explain how shocking this company is to deal with. We booked a 2 week holiday to egypt with egypt escapes. Our invoice clearly states that for the nile cruise portion of our trip we had an ultra inclusive package. Upon arrival we had to argue (12 of us, 3 separate bookings) with our tour guide and the crew onboard that we had the ultra all inclusive package.

The crew and the tour guide refused to accept this. We have spent hours on the phone and sending emails to egypt escapes to sort this issue while onboard (taking time away from our holiday) and egypt escapes have been useless in helping. They refuse to honour the ultra inclusive package, despite the fact that it is clearly stated on the documentation egypt escapes have sent us.

Nothing but rude and unhelpful staff over the phone. Alistair, Joe (Joan?) and Martin Brown (salesman - who was very 'generous' with his descriptions of the holiday package).

I would not recommend booking anything through this company.
