I had a pleasure to visit Wayne a month ago. He took good care of my 993. He’s not only a highly skilled professional but also very nice person - honest, trustworthy and very nice to talk to. The workshop name may be confusing though - he’s not Wizard at all - and there’s nothing about magic going on there. There’s years of experience, hard work and knowledge accumulated over time. And results are outstanding. Highly recommended!

Wayne mapped my 20v turbo cliosport track car. It completely transformed the car and it has been super reliable on track after lots of abuse. His advice and recommendations (even if its not what you want to hear) is second to none.

My BMW E30 M3 Evo had been restored but was not running 100%.Including the restorers, two other 'tuners' attempted a fix. 1 guy informed me the engine was developing only 180bhp from the factory 220bhp spec.
First visit to Wayne he confirmed the 'missing' 40 ponies was down to a faulty rev counter. However, the engine was not running as it should, developing a mere 211bhp. A 2nd visit was arranged to map the ECU.
Wayne performed whatever black magic he performed and the engine now delivers 218.9bhp.
Pickup is much smoother and the engine simply feels and sounds healthier.

It's a cliche I know; "You've tried the rest, now try the best."
In my case, it proved 100% true.

I have had both my 996 GT3 and 993 GT2 mapped by Wayne with excellent results in both cases. The early 993 turbo ECUs are not designed to be remapped without significant internal modifications and Wayne is the only person in the UK who has the equipment & knowledge to perform this successfully.

What an amazing experience…. The attention to detail and in depth knowledge shown and generated by Wayne its way beyond excellent . Jobs not finished till the car is 100% correct and this results in the best possible end result . Wayne is a totally decent chap, friendly and informative from the start and provides fantastic service….. strongest possible recommendation for all Porsche owners especially .

Wayne went above and beyond with the service he provided, My car was shall we say less than straight forward and other tuners would of just refunded the job and sent me on my way, not at Chipwizards. Wayne was friendly and very very knowledgeable even explaining how mapping worked and what was going to adjustable and where. End result was better than I was hoping for and the car is transformed. I highly recommend Chipwizards and I will certainly use them again.

Excellent service from Wayne he found a fault with our car fixed it within minutes then got more power out of it then I ever expected. Amazing power curve car drives spot on. Also has a great waiting area makes u feel comfortable with great facilities keeps u up to date with what's going on. Top bloke will only ever use them from now on 👍

If you have a mapping problem, then Wayne is the man. Very methodical, logical mapping, looking for the best result for your car. Listens to what you are looking for, a very good personal service. If you have a 964, fitted with a lightweight flywheel, everyone tells you that stalling at the lights is not solvable. Wayne easily fixed the issue. Spent time on part throttle settings as well as full power. Car is just so much better to drive.
