Mosaic Chelmsford Turkish restaurant

I will give a 4 stars only because of the rudest waiter ever.
I always come here to eat and the food, atmosphere and staff are always extra nice. I don't like lamb and I always ask to have my chicken cooked separately and they always understand and deliver the yummiest food.
However, last night I was so disappointed to see they hired a new waiter that was super rude to my table. I asked for the chicken to be cooked separately as I always do and he said no, then we asked when our food was coming (we were waiting for 1 hour) and he replied "it's busy" instead of checking on our food. It was sad to see this since the owners are always extremely nice and treat us with respect. The food was however great and drinks too!

Went here for lunch today and I was delighted with the service and the quality of food was amazing.
The resturant itself is clean and fresh and well decorated. We were served promptly and they were very polite and welcoming.The lunch menu includes a starters and a mains for £11.95. I ordered the calamari for starters, it was fresh, not chewing, garnished well and cooked to perfection. For mains i ordered the lamb moussaka (which comes with rice) and it was delicious. Overall I cannot fault this resturant, i rate it a 9/10 because the only downside for accessibility reasons, is that, the resturant has no onsite parking, but I parked in the retail park (2hours free) which is only a five minute walk down the road and across the traffic lights. Would definately recommend this place for lunch.

Mosaic was our go to Turkish restaurant when we lived in Chelmsford. The food is delicious. We’ve ordered takeaway from here a few times and have noticed that the food is a little bit better when dining in. Overall, it’s a nice restaurant that serves flavourful, well marinated Turkish food.

I can't believe we have not visited here before.
The venue itself is stunning. The decor is authentic and beautiful. All the tables were perfectly laid with sparkling glasses and silverware.
Our server today was polite and attentive. He made us feel like nothing was too much, this added to the friendly atmosphere. An absolute credit to the restaurant.
The food was delightful, well seasoned and fresh. It was all cooked to perfevtion and the smell permeated the restaurant. The portion sizes are perfect. The menu offered a wide range dishes, there is something for everyone.
We will back, there is so much more to experience.

Everything about this place is 10/10. We got a takeaway and went to collect from the warm and inviting restaurant. Friendly staff who were extremely welcoming. We ordered and collected within 15mins. The food was presented perfectly all in separate little boxes. The food itself was absolutely amazing, fresh and full of flavour. We will definitely be eating from here again!

Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Vibe & Decor 5/5. Service 5/5 (nothing was too much for Ezel and service was always focused, friendly and polite with adults and kids). Food 4.5/5 (tasty however, served warm and not hot. Not sure if it was mis-timed or if the actual plates were cold). Portion Sizes: 5/5 (all fair for the price). Drinks 5/5 (they do a lovely Pina Colada and Virgin Passion Fruit Mojito). Parking 4.5/5 (nearby single yellow lines on a Sunday but otherwise the Riverside car parks are close enough). We asked for some changes to the menu items selected and they were all done with ease. Will definitely go back. Our favourite Turkish in Chelmsford alongside Moda.

Had a lovely evening at Mosaic. Delicious food with generous portions & huge cocktails. Incredible service from all staff, giving a special mention to Ezel. The decor is beautiful and creates a brilliant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

We had a wonderful meal at Mosaic on Sunday. Staff are lovely, welcoming and efficient, nice decor, (I loved the coloured glass lampshades). The food was fabulous, tasty, artistically presented generous portions, including vegetarian options for my partner. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks from the front, so there are plenty of tables so we didn't feel at all rushed. A thoroughly 5 star experience. Thank you everyone at Mosaic, we will definitely be back to dine with you again. I think we have just found our new favourite Chelmsford restaurant!
