Excellent food! Service was a but slow and the servers seemed preoccupied but they were still very nice. Food was amazing will definitely go back.

First vusit to this restaurant. Very welcoming, good service, delicious food, andvthevrice was perfectly cooked, good value and reasonable - just a hit too much, two could have shared one dish. Will go again.

We went for meal as a group of 12 for my birthday, the service, food and experience has been great. This place is amazing and I'll be sure to come again. Thank you for everything.

Came across this restaurant whilst looking for a place to eat before the theatre. The food was very tasty and generous portions full of flavour and textures. Lovely intimate setting. However the card machine didnt work that docent suit all including them!! If you didnt have cash on you or a phone banking app what then what also they wine was terrible like a 4% sweet wine and they didnt know how to make a gin and tonic so was very weak on the alcohol choice. But all in all would recommend for the food alone.

August 2022 This restaurant has now changed hands and the experience was awful. We had booked a table for 10 a month in advance. When we arrived at 6pm the table was not ready. Some young men from a table were ushered upstairs and hastily tables were rearranged for us. After a good 20 minutes or more we asked if we could have a drink. We also had to ask for menu's! We ordered the drinks and they took forever to come and the waiter kept coming back and forwards to the table checking what drink we had ordered. We eventually ordered food. We decided to not have starters as service was so slow!My friend asked about gluten free but I'm not convinced this was understood. 50 minutes later 5 meals were brought to the table. We started eating as the food was getting cold then we asked the waiter where were the other meals? So he went and got 4 more meals and managed to muddle up the gluten free meal. We then said we had one more meal to come. The waiter returned from the kitchen and said they had run out of the last meal and could they do calamari instead? My friend said no. The chef came out and offered to cook another dish but as it took 50 mins last time my friend declined! Also why when the order was taken through - why didn't the chef know immediately he hadn't got the produce? The chef tried to blame the inexperienced waiter! We tried to order more drinks, we asked for 4 bottles of corona and were told they only had 2. Next thing we saw they had been to supermarket to get more corona. Our friends were told he'd found one more bottle but anymore would have to wait until they chilled. Before we even finished eating we asked for the bill and scrutinised it. We all asked to pay by card. We were told the card machine was broken but we suspect they didn't have one as there was no till. We were asked to pay by bank transfer to an account on a bit of scrap paper or pay cash. The whole experience was like Fawlty Towers! Won't go back unless it changes owners! This used to be such a good restaurant. The new owner needs to seriously up his game and understand how to run a restaurant and train his staff , who haven't got a clue!

The service was terrible. There was 10 of us and 1 person never got a meal. Brought 5 meals out then had to wait for the rest. Only then to be told they didn't have the food ordered for the last meal. Didn't have the drinks advertised on the menu. Was a total sham.

Had a lovely meal here tonight with my husband. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was professional not over the top. Try the beef doner, you wont be disappointed!
